"Why do you write strong female characters?"

Watch it, the whole way through.

Great speech. Thank you for posting it. Sometimes males and females I love and respect suggest that highlighting insignificant instants of gender inequality is a hobby or is just being too picky about words, or being a spoiled rebel without a true cause. This speech is supportive when sometimes I wonder if I am being too extreme in being sensitive to small acts of gender inequality ( or "fill in the blank" inequality") - thanks.

Your welcome. In my experience, you cannot highlight gender inequality enough. Like it or not, it colors almost every aspect of our lives in one way or another.

I LOVE this clip. Almost as much as I love Joss. If I weren't married and, I suppose, if he weren't married, I'd totally chase after him.

That's it. I'm watching Buffy on DVD. :)
