RIP George
I got to see George Carlin perform at my college during Homecoming Weekend in the early 90s, and he was a blast.

ah hell NO! hadn't heard about it yet! One of my Cal State roomies was a huge fan, and made me one. Him and Bill Hicks are the only comedian I can think off the top of my head that truly gave two shits about what they talked about, had hearts. Rest in peace, independent spirit.
oh just thought of another: Jon Stewart. Hope we are honored with more comedy and courage like theirs, instead of more power-asskissers like Dennis Miller and Dennis Leary -- wow, just realized they've got the same name, hmm.
