This explains so much!

Or does it... discover the truth here.

I hope that my bepenised readers are not offended...it's all in good fun. In fact, I'm fairly certain that the series is actually produced by men (and well done, too). With that in mind, if you *are* upset with me, just take two Midol, curl up with a heating pad, and call me in the morning!

Ginger,

There are those of us in the bepenised crowd who are entirely sympathetic to a woman's monthly cycle. Some of us actually do go out of our way to try to ease things, mindful both of the facts that we can't truly understand it and can't really do anything to make it better.

Hilarious, Ginger. As an historian myself, I particularly appreciated the approach of parodizing PBS or the History Channel.

LOL, Anon. It's appreciated. I would assume that the guys who made these short films are of the same mind.

While I wouldn't call my period "the curse" as so many other women do, it can be damned inconvenient.
