That's excellent reading. I love the oldies precisely for the quick-witted dialogue. I find, when I watch with friends unfamiliar with the genre, they aren't ready for the pace, and miss all the best zingers!
Hey there sage. I know! I loved those old movies and all the snarky women in them. We think we've come such a long way, but too many women in movies are relegated to girlfriend/victim/milquetoast. BORING.
I saw "The Women" as a stage play on TV a while back. It was very amusing.
