Dear readers, have a happy "Whatever Lifestyle You've Chosen" day. Try to avoid overpriced teddy bears, tacky lingerie and bad chocolates if you can! I say that if you want to show some love, donate to a charity like this, this, this, or this in your loved one's name. Now that's romantic!

This day is made a little more weird by the fact that it's my ex-girlfriend's birthday.
It would be more weird if you kept sending your ex birthday AND valentine's day cards!
It's also the anniversary of Oregon's statehood, he said patriotically.
At this year's statehood celebration, the Governor told us we had just one year left in which to learn to pronounce "sesquicentennial". :-)
